If you have never been to one of my singing workshops you might not know what to expect. If you're thinking of coming, here are some questions which often come up.

How does a vocal workshop benefit me?

Taking a vocal workshop will enable you to learn something utterly new about singing, allowing you to apply the knowledge to your future singing endeavors.

Is there going to be music or lyrics?

When you attend one of my workshops, you can either receive lyrics or a full music score or you can just have your individual music part.

Is there an audition ?

There are no auditions. My workshops are open to anybody who loves to sing – no experience is necessary.  My workshops are all about the joys of singing together and learning to hold harmonies and to try new harmony sections.

What kind of songs will we be singing

Vocal workshops are usually based on a theme. For example, I once held a 1920s workshop where I taught songs from the 1920s and arranged the music accordingly. We also had a fun sing along with Puttin on the Ritz.

After attending the workshop, what can I expect to receive?

A vocal recording of the ensemble will be provided to you, and at some workshops there is an opportunity to perform for friends and family, such as a "show & tell".

What if I've paid in advance for a workshop, but find that I can't attend after all?

It depends on when you have to cancel and also whether it's a weekend (or longer) course or a one-day (or shorter) workshop. You can come speak to me and it could be that you may want to use the credit for another workshop in the future or receive a refund if cancelled more than 48hours in advance.

What if I have other questions that are not covered on here?

Do feel free to ask me any questions when you are at a workshop, no matter how basic they may seem. You can also contact me directly and ask: Rebeccahitchcock25@gmail.com
